PENGGUNAAN K3 PADA PEKERJAAN PILE CAP PEMBANGUNAN GEDUNG IBRAHIM TOWER 13 LANTAI RS ROEMANI MUHAMMADIYAH SEMARANG

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration No. 8 of 2010 concerning Personal Protective Equipment. Article 1 states that personal protective equipment or PPE is a tool that has the ability to protect a person whose function is to isolate part or all of the body from potential hazards in the workplace. The K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) symbol means the meaning contained in the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia 1135/MEN/1987 concerning the Occupational Safety and Health Flag. The following is an explanation of the meaning and significance of the K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) symbol/logo. Occupational safety is safety related to machines, aircraft, work tools, materials and their processing, workplace foundations and their environment and how to do work. A work accident is an accident or illness suffered by a person due to doing a job or caused by the work environment (Payaman, 1994). These K3 signs must in principle comply with the standards set by laws and regulations. One of the references used is the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower (Permenaker) No. 05 of 1996 concerning the K3 Management System. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Pile cap work has been carried out in accordance with the work plan regulations. Occupational Safety and Health (K3) awareness needs to be increased by taking an approach that involves increasing education, strict supervision, providing comfortable PPE, and minimizing the risk of work accidents. Pile cap work on the 13-story Ibrahim Tower Building Construction project for K3 is zero accident.
