Waste is waste from solid activity processes originating from households, markets, hospitals, recreation areas, roads, agriculture, and industry. Karanganyar Regency has an area of 76,778.64 Ha consisting of 17 sub-districts, covering 177 villages/sub-districts (162 villages and 15 sub-districts). The method used is to conduct a field survey to find out waste data, collect references about waste. Waste planning activities run optimally if waste planning runs well, so that there will be no leachate seeping into the ground. The conclusion is the need for good and sustainable waste management, achieving sustainable development goals involving the community in sustainable waste management can reduce negative impacts on the environment and improve public health. Cooperation between Regional Apparatus Organizations in waste management, training to improve Human Resources, improving supervision and control of domestic waste management activities is the responsibility of the OPD, increasing socialization of domestic waste management to the community, preparing Standard Operating Procedures for domestic waste management and socializing it.
